1st day of the hols in the Med and on engine tryout (KAD43's) the throttle arm on one of the engines springs back. Is there some friction device? If so i guess it's undeneath the throttle arms cover.....how do I remove that?
Answers urgently please because i'm just dieing to get out there!!

PS The KAD43 is the non-electronic version.

On mine, you pinch either side of the base of the black plastic control box cover, wiggle, pull away & unclip one end at a time to remove.

Underneath the cover on each side is small philips type screw not far from each lever arm that can be tightened up a bit.

Thanks Flowerpower for your fast reply.
I can squeeze the sides but nothing seems to budge. Do the arms have to come off? It looks like they don't need to. Apart from a bit of give when I squeeze the sides it seems rock solid.....any thoughts

ps I've WD40'ed al around

Arms stay on.

What you are trying to do is pull the front edge of the cover box forwards (or the back edge backwards). It will "click" and ping off: it's clipped in along the base of the front edge. It might need some downwards pressure from above as well to release it (three hands required?)

A bit difficult to describe in words.
