I’m in Spain and had to take my Kad43 water pump off because of a sheared brass screw. (which is now fixed) The pump is 15 years old and deserves a new seal. Is this something I can do on my lap with no special equipment?
I have a good set of tools, circlip pliers etc

Go onto Youtube and find the chap who has multiple videos on basic fettling Volvo Penta engines.
Shows how to remove and dismantle your pump, using the most basic of tools and then rebuild with new impellor/ bearings/seals and shaft if worn..
Several other videos dealing with everything painted green that can go wrong.
It is real time video and the guy does entire job in about 10 mins.
All the bits and pieces are available on Ebay(or VP) you can get complete kit with shaft and bearings or just the two little seals.
