KAD43 cable adjustment

One of my throttle cables needs to be adjusted a little on my KAD 43's. Should this be done at the engine end or the lever box end?

Bear in mind there are two cables for each engine.
Gear cable moves first, then throttle.

So I'd start with the gear cable at the control box end.
(easier than swimming with tools)

Indications are that the throttle cable has stretched a little but your point is still valid and I guess on thinking about it, it doesn't matter which end is adjusted because both will effectively shorten the cable unless there is some interaction that needs to be taken into account
