Not the easiest of tasks to grease the steering but with the grease nipple pointing downwards must be a right pig!

I note you mentioned in your first post seacocks, I have a 2001 S28, although it did not go in the water till 2002 when I bought her. I have during my 6 weeks out of the water changed my seacocks for DZR type, have to say on inspection there was nothing that worried me about the condition of the ones I removed. Just thought I would mention it before you start taking everything apart.
For the trim tab gaiters try Tricketts, not sure if Nick has them back in stock yet although stand to be corrected.
