Hi all,
The manual belt tensioners for the KAD (300 in my case) works by way of rack&pinion.

On the back of the stud/bolt that you tighten (to tighten the belt) is a replacable metal cog.

I had to replace one of these before and for the life of me (yes, i've been Googling!) cannot find the part number.

Don't suppose anyone here knows the part number / what i'm talking about? marinepartseurope.com is gone to cat - doesn't have the schematics like it used to.

Thanks all!

OK so turns out it is the right part - ready for collection on Monday (which is great for the West of Ireland) - I'll leave this thread here in the hope it helps others in future.

PS. I've ordered 2, 1 spare to be kept on-board! It snapped when tightening the belt (wasn't over-tightening.... had a torque wrench) - Better to break at start of season when on the hard rather than when the engine is purring at 3000RPM!
