Just a few spots of oil coming out from behind the crankshaft damper. Looks like a simple job, remove the belts, then the damper, prise out the old crankshaft oil seal and push a new one in.
Am I missing anything, please?

The bit "then the damper" is like the line in the Halfords manual that says "lift off the cylinder head".

I had a mechanic do mine, but yes, if you have a puller to get the damper off, it should be straightforward.

Hi

Before you do anything just check the oil level is not over the top mark on the dipstick, this will cause leaks from that seal. If it is just drain some oil off and check for leaks after running the engine.

I did a write up on this forum regarding changing that seal without all the VP tooling, maybe a search will find it for you?

Hope that is some help for you.
