Just wondering how all those people who had given up smoking in the New Year were getting on now?

Lift-in yesterday round the corner in S E Kent, noticed only one smoker out of 25+ and he was a Russian. What a transformation over the past 50+ years as any one who has lived in an RN mess deck will tell you.

Joined my Sqn in Germany in 1983, only 1 out of 7 in the back of the clanky tanky didn't smoke. By '86, as I was posted, only 1 did. Fortunately I was the Corporal by then so the rest had to put up with it /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
Now been packed up for over 14 years
