What did you do about lifejackets when the grandchildren x 2 in my case appear on a collision course with your boating..Have seen several different versions from the usual manufacturers.Only 11 months old at moment.

One of the jacket manufacturers appears to major on the fact it will turn the little perishers face up in 5 seconds or so.
All comments welcome especially how to remove soggy biscuits from carpet and to get your navigation system back up and running after major seeing too in the buttons that go bleep dept.
Factory reset does not work...tried it.:)

I took the first grandchildren along to the swindlery to try various types and sizes of LJ's, and bought 100N Talamex. With a range of ages of grandchildren, we have ended up with 1 LJ of each size 1 thru 4. I also have Seago 100N Automatic for the oldest one, who is now 8 yrs old. They seem to work well enough.

The rules are LJ's msut be worn at all times on the boat, and on the marina pontoons as well until they are able to swim 100m (this has been a good incentive to get their 100m badges).

So far have not encountered soggy biscuits, just crumbs and crisps, but they have these outside in the non-carpeted cockpit.

Touch wood, have not had button pressings yet.

Navigation system called it a day and surrendered. NO FIX.
Factory reset and cold GPS start got it going.(Only after pulling boat to bits and finding nothing wrong with GPS) . Grr
