As a newbie i would just like to say hello to all on scuttlebutt.

I have already read through most of the postings and find the interesting, informative and funny.

Re: Just to say \"Hello!\"

You've "read through most of the postings"!!!! Good grief, that makes you an old-timer already. (Currently 95,000 on Scuttlebutt).

What kind of sailing do you do? Why 'Blindman'?

Re: Just to say \"Hello!\"

Hi there.

I'm new too, despite the fact that it says 'regular' to the left.

Being currently boatless I'm here for the humour - and to pass on the benefit of all the cock-ups in my past.

And yes, there is a huge amount of knowledge available on the forum.

If you think such grovelling will gain you any brownie points, you're seriously mistaken. Welcome to the madhouse. :) :)
