........in my fav spot. Do you think anyone would notice if I dropped a stonking great lump of pig iron with a bouy attached to it in Studland. I'd make it just big enuff to hold my boat but drag is anything bigger used it. It would be inkeeping with the rest of them, ie spherical and yellow. Whaddya think?

Methinks advertising it on here not good move, idea excellent, let me know where you dump it so I can use it when you are not about!!!

Happy days eh? Last weekend at studland I did not see any PWC riders behaving in an unreasonable manner, and a couple were very obviously being considerate to the assembled idle gits(me included) who spent a rather nice time there. So thanks to them, it was appreciated. Are things looking up? Will not hold breath or collect £200 etc.

Sounds a good idea. But tell me how you go about doing it.
A few of us on our Pontoon are talking about putting a mooring down on Loch Lomond, But the thought of carrying buckets of concrete to the desired area on the back of a nice shiney sportsboat doesn't really appeal to me.

Re: Its not rocket science!

Find something big and heavy that sinks. Attatch a chain to it. To other end of chain attach a mooring bouy. Plonk whole lot over the side of the boat in the desired location an lo and behold a mooring.
Not saying its leagal, was just asking if anyone would notice one more mooring amongst a whole load there already.

Ah so, you read my mind! Block/crank/head knackered, still kept all the other bits though.
