Just seen two heroes of sailing in 48 hrs

Saw Sir Robin Knox-Johnston's talk on the Cutty Sark on Thursday and Roger Taylor 's talk at Burnham today.

Two different approaches to sailing and each have made their own unique contribution.

Both very entertaining and informative talks.

Saw a few familiar faces and met a few new ones. Did anyone else go to these?

Not RKJ, but thoroughly enjoyed Roger's talk. Well attended too.

We made it to Greenwich to see RKJ, without doubt the best £15 I,ve ever spent.

Got to shake his hand and he even signed Cutty Sark rigging plan for me, Oh and the girlfriend got a hugh hug.

A true gentleman I feel privileged to have meet him.

Enjoyed the first half of Roger's talk, then drove back to Fox's to attend the Jester Symposium. All sorts of ideas going round my head again.
