Hi everyone,
I couldn't find an intro thread.
So I am just saying Hi.
I don't have a boat; I live 75 miles from the nearest 'seaside'.
I learned to sail in HMS Ganges, at Shotley, Nr Ipswich, in 1954. I haven't sailed since the 1960's and I dare-say I have forgotten anything useful.
Well that doesn't matter, because I am too old, too rotund, and too arthritic to be of any use on deck. I can't even cook worth a darn! None of that lessens the appeal and I still love anything to do with sailing. So I hope it's okay to be a 'proxy' deckhand?
