We have just got a 5/6 month old rescue Patterdale, called Ozzy!!!!
He was fished out of a river:mad::mad::mad:
Only had him a week and already had a fabulous time on our boat at the weekend, luckily he's comfortable around water and the pontoons!
Great time with many more great times to come.

Pics to follow when I've mastered how to do it from an iPad:confused:

From Photobucket album....select photo...tap the chain symbol,to left of envelope...then select img URL ..then paste on forum.

cracking little dog.I've got a rescued 18 month patterdale hasen't been to boat as yet always falling in canal, river and any other water so should be interesting on the boat.they are a good dog much more of a handful than there size surgests. In your pics is that a colvic watson motorsailer in the back ground?good luck with the dog.

He's very cute! I just wish we had a sufficiently stable lifestyle to be able to have one ourselves!

if you had a stable enough life surely you would have a horse:D sorry about that I no what you mean though.

That's terrible! I would love to have a horse, but certainly do not have time for one of them. I've had cats in the house almost all my life but, when the last one died about three years ago we decided that we really could not have any more because they were beginning to become too much of a limit on our freedom. I've thought about a dog and really like the idea, but it is still not possible to cross the Channel with a dog in the boat and we really want the freedom to explore a bit more for a few years.

What a smashing little dog. I've had a look at a few rescue centres in the last year, but they only seem to have Staffs.

Yes a lot of them around, some people think they are a status symbol or fation item.I've had Saffs for 20years i still have one,too frail now for the boat but a lovely dog and in general the friendliest affectionate dogs more difficult if a rescue though.

There does seem to be a lot involved in taking and bringing animals back from abroard.Do no what you mean about the freedom though currently drop the old staff of at my mums who enjoys the company.

All my relatives are either too old, too busy, or too far away :(
