Just got back from Falmouth

Hey everyone,

I just got back from Falmouth to see Ellen home, what a fantastic time, I am really glad I went as I do not think I will forget seeing all those boats and people comming in to Falmouth.

Anyway, I see you have all been busy posting, here are some pictures I took, they are not great as my camera started to play up.

No. 27 might need reloading, it stops halfway!

Yep, I was on the Pontoon slap bang next to the boat. It was a day I wont forget in a long time, I bet Ellen wont either!

Dont, I nearly had to buy pictures as my main memory card failed so I had to use a tiny 16mb back up! Just my luck, will be better prepared next time.

I was there too, out in Aeolus welcoming her back in. My boat was on the telly !
There was another boat called Caster Oil or Barbeque or something that kept getting in the way of the cameras.

I have also just got back from Falmouth, you must have had a press pass and been in the pack to get those shots, oiks like us had to stand and hog our spot by the barriers in front of the stage/screen for hours only for all the worlds press and media to come along just before she made her appearance on stage and stand in front of us to spoil our view and our pictures although some did take note and stay low.

Not really a gripe at the media bods just doing their jobs and fully understand the pressure they are under when hunting in a pack as they certainly were.

You got some good shots as has been said but we did OK with our own and even got to see the boat up close this morning and also Ellen came down back onboard which was another good opportunity for a few extra pics which we otherwise would not have been able to get so that was just lucky timing.

It was certainly an event not to be missed in view of the achievement and I'm very glad that I made the effort to go.
