A 60 ft Italian trimaran got inverted whilst taking part in the Jacques-Vabre transat off of the coast of Senegal in November 2005, turned up here last weekend, upside down, sans mast, all on its ownsome!!
Local saily school guy has recovered it, reckons he needs 600k Euros to get her up to scratch again, is sting the help of the local youth, to occupy there time with things other than robbing people and selling crack, which can't be a bad thing....
Just wondering if thats the record for the longest ever transat??
