Arent you all just getting a little sick and tired of the government departments hyping up their underperformance?
Maybe all you retirees are happy with paying £600 a year out of your vast pensions for a new web site and to still run aground??? Thought not! /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif
Never mind, I will carry on working all hours to attempt to keep my job so that I can keep the public servants gold plated pensions going. /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif

Oh come on MIke, lighten up a little.
Life isnt perfect or fair. Quite frankly, at the moment I'm more worried about ice ridden pavements that havent been cleared and which represent a real hazard to old folk like me.
The 'good old days' are gone for ever and with all thats happened in recent months thanks to crap government and banking stupidity its likely to get even worse.
Its no use heaping angst on angelaq either 'cos even with her new found elevation she's still only one little cog in the enormous wheel that is the EA and even that is only a part of the derisable DEFRA.
AT least she's had the b*lls to come on here, keep us informed, and, I am sure. listen to many of the things we've had to say. I like to think that the website improvements really have been influenced by input from folks like us.

I know things are not perfect and never will be - but blatant "SPIN" during current times is an insult to my and your intelligence.
"keep us informed" - my reading of every post was that there was a PR message in each one.
Problem is the public at large are not buying it are they? Otherwise the numbers of boats would be up and not 300 down from last year.

B1, great thread; most amusing.
Thanks for rigging Apollo, he's rabbited on too long on that one. It's becoming a non issue (hopefully) as so few clockwork locks will be left this season. OTOH if he wants a flunky service in 2009 - well tough; need to get out and talk to boaters whilst pushing buttons.
I support you with your comments re AQ, don't' knock friendly authority figures, especially when they make an effort to communicate.

Chris you shouldn't use a photo of Winnie smoking a cigar. That is now politically incorrect. Anyway it is a proven fact he wouldn't have died so young if he'd been a non smoker and not an alcoholic.
