Just fallen for a new ideal boat the Boreal 47

Whilest in France last week I was invited onboard a newly commissioned Boreal 47 and it is now top of the list on boats to look at when I win the lottery on Saturday!

Over the last year or so I've been impressed with the "tin boats" as SWMBO calls, but this was the first Boreal I've seen and was impressed with the design.

Lots of interesting observations from offshore sailors regarding many aspects from design, reliability to sailing in cold waters.

The 44' was boat of the year here a few years ago. It would be high on my lottery list but I would also like to see Jimmy Cornell's new Garcia 45'.
