This beach is just west of Bregancon
It’s a bit unkempt and the anchorage is exposed. But it’s unregulated so you can take your boat as close as you like. Lovely sandy bottom and turquoise water. Other than that it’s just another beach:)

Presumably they allow the erection of a sun shade.
Yes, one day just before a long trip my wife announced that she wanted a place where she could cuddle her dog in the shade. So I rigged that up in a hurry, you know how sometimes you get something right first time? I’ve been meaning to upgrade it, for example the poles are from a wardrobe for hanging clothes. I’ve been thinking of getting stainless steel but so far all I’ve done is wrap them in aluminium tape! The shade is from a garden centre but if the wind is over 10 knots I have to take it down but that only takes two minutes:)

We took one hour to slowly motor to that spot, spent another hour at anchor while my wife swam and then an hour for the return trip. All at displacement speed. After tying up we walked to a restaurant by this beach

For a lovely lunch. And now I’m home watching E.T. on the telly. Great morning ;)
This week should be lovely and calm, but busy, so I might just go spend some nights at anchor.
Enjoy your summer:encouragement:

My wife flew to Paris the other day. And these are some photos she took of the peninsula of Hyeres and Porquerolles
