Just a thanks from me, close of business

I know this is not entirely boat related but this is where it all started for me.

Some time ago during my boat build thread on here a lot you folk suggested i try out working for myself repairing and building other folks boats after you seen what i can do with a boat.

So i did thanks to folk on here its been great over the few years and business has been great. dream job if you like boats which i think those that know me i do rather like them.

Well it has come to an abrupt end sadly. All down to my struggles with health i have had to close down Wayne Boat Works. Its no fun and to much pain when you get into a bow and cant get out, that was interesting in a mind changing way, thats what got me to think on things while lying there stuck, cant lift a sheet of wood etc etc.

So a big thanks folks for all the encouragement you gave me to do it. appreciated it and still do. Not been easy to give in with work piled up for next few months and wish in a way i failed at it as that would of been easier. but hey ho there we go.

So all best folk for 2021 and as and when i will add to my build blog when my good lady can help me.

I got two lads help me out on two separate jobs, well they let me down so i decided to not bother either help or contracting nay work out.
Its true when folk say you cant get the staff lol

Sorry to hear of your plight. I certainly understand your being let down by poor staff. I could write a book on employer abuse by employees, and still they need more rights.

I employed staff and know how you feel however but every now and then you strike gold. Those you hang onto as apart from their ability they like working with you. Good synergy

Possibly kida. Docs sent me for a Ultrasound but pain was that bad i couldnt get my arms in the position needed to get a good reading. So they sent me to physio, and same again, pain is that bad i can barley do that either to strengthen the muscles up enough to do what ever is needed. I dont get physio at all really and what its meant to do when they dont really know whats wrong. Its not that i need exercise as i never stop to loose muscle. Another friend mentioned an Osteopth is worth a try. Anything is worth a try.
