I see the Crown Estates have awarded the wind farm contracts and that the area (area 7) off the SW of the Isle of Wight has been given the go ahead. Should be operational by 2016 apparently.
Oh, and nice to see all those british jobs for british workers....looks like its dominated by dutch and Scandic companys....oh well, that would be another one of Gordon's claims of "investment areas creating jobs in renewables" then
