Junior Lifejackets Portsmouth/Gosport

Hi,

Next week I will be taking a couple of youngsters day sailing in the Solent. This will probably be a 'one off', so I am hoping that I can avoid the cost of purchasing junior life jackets.

Is there a kind person out there in the Portsmouth/Gosport area who would be willing to loan me a pair?

Sorry can't help, but I had a similar problem sometime ago and even looked to see if there was a hiring outlet - no joy - ended up buying some - thank goodness for ebay.

Hope someone can lend you some - I'm afraid I'm a bit far away from Gosport.

Try one of the Charter Companies they may hire you a couple for tea money .. Be worth a couple of phone calls ..

The charter outfit in Gosport Marina will oblige. Can't rember the name but the marina office will give you that.

We've one childs buoyancy aid (it's like a lifejacket but doesn't inflate if you know what I mean) which you are welcome to borrow. I'm at Royal Clarence and will be at the boat tomorrow evening. PM me.
