Jubilee cruise pick up

I am booked into St Kats from Saturday to Tuesday over the jubilee weekend. I want to pick up some friends on the way up the Thames and wonder if there is any marina with a pontoon that I could briefly use for this. I was hoping that there may be access at Tilbury or Thurrock but, following research, I think not. Can anybody please offer advice?

Rumour has it that Gravesend now has a public pontoon that you should be able to use
