Fed up with gashing hands and arms on sticking out tail on jubilee clips I bought some plastic covers for the tails from ASAP. Brilliant fitted them today, bright yellow can’t miss them also they double as a double check if the clip is tightened, assuming you have checked before slipping one on. Need to buy some more it is astonishing how many clips there are used 40 and that was just engine and associated bits.

I've got some of them, and they work. Trouble is, there's always one you've forgotten about just waiting to remove some skin. Maybe it's the worm in them, but hose clips can lurk in a very sinister way.
