Jubilee clips on butyl rubber sanitation hose

I'm fitting new butyl rubber sanitation hoses (like this) I have a problem trying to get the jubilee clips tight enough to stop the hose turning on the skin fitting. I am sure it is a water tight seal but mechanically it is fairly easy to pull it off even after tightening the clip with a socket as tight as I feel able to.

On the back of the toilet there is not enough room to fit two clips. Is there a better hose clip I can use or any other suggestions gratefully received?

I prefer Hi-grip to Jubilee. Hose is difficult enough to get off when the clips are removed. Have you got the right size?

YOu may need a bit of sealent to get a good joint. For some reason, the hose on the aft head had a sulk when I replaced it after getting rid of a lot of scale. No matter how hard I did the clips up, it leaked. So I put a smear of sealent round the inside of the hose, made the junction up again and no more leaks.
