How many inaccuracies can you spot in this article ?

Here's a starter:

Caption: Escape hatches located at the bottom of the couple's catamaran were found wide open in pictures taken by the U.S. Coast Guard after the vessel sunk.

I am not even sure its a catamaran?

Hope his defense council tried harder.

Looks fine to me, I think it's a good idea to fit guardlines under the hull. Much safer when inverted and you need to escape through the hatch as you have something to stop you falling overboard. Having chainplates and rigging for a spare mast is also a good idea as you can sail either way up with 2 masts permanently fitted. :D:D I admit that performance would be pretty poor either way up and limited choice of anchorages with 15m draft.

I doubt the reporter had the faintest clue about what he was looking at and tried to match pictures to the Coastguard report. I do think it looks like a cat, not many monohulls with daggerboards fitted near the toerail.
