For those of you that use Seaqueen this is the response from a query to SML paints

SeaQueen is no longer available from Jotun. Generally speaking 2 coats of SeaQueen will last 2 seasons of typical leisure use, but remember, once the coating has polished away you will have no protection. If you decide to antifoul, the product available is Mare Nostrum.

Provided the surface has no powdery residue and is not flaky, you will be able to apply a new coating directly on to the SeaQueen.

Just a shame Mare Nostrum is more expensive and was a poor performer in a recent PBO test. Wonder what SML would say to that? - answer my own question, they ignored it!:disgust:

I managed to get 5l of Sea Queen in November from Paints 4 trade, but seems as if it was remnant stock, as now can't see it anywhere on the web, nor even the Seaforce 30, only Mare Nostrum which is obviously the only readily available replacement and I am not convinced it is equally as effective. Appears Jotun have withdrawn all of the old products for leisure use and seems to me replaced with more anodyne products. I have noticed lots of references to "Professional Use only" on antifouls, so perhaps a general move reflecting elf & safety changing goal posts. Expletive deleted. What will I use next season?

It's not SML's fault, Jotun have stitched them up. Bloody annoying. SeaQueen was very good.

That's odd when I checked with Jotun two months ago their website still featured the SeaForce line, assumed they only dropped the SeaQueen brand. Now gone :-(
Ordered 10l Seaforce 30 from a local supplier, labeled as "remaining stock"
