A lot of boats spent more time static in marinas per year than actually moving so Jotun Sea Quantum Ultra has been suggested as a good antifouling for some cruising yachts as it covers both slow moving( under 12 knots and static conditions while classic does medium above 12 knots . So why is it that they are not readily available at chandleries and suppliers etc ?

Boat yards which also do fishing boats buy these items in large quantities as they are commercial products and of course offer a cheap rate . Has anyone on the forum had experience of using either of the above two Jotun Products

Simple economics really! /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif If that which you are trying to sell has a higher price, then the return from your sales effort is greater than if you sell a cheaper product, cos the mark up is probably the same.....50% of £25.00 is £12.50..but of £70. is £35. so three times the money in your hand, for no more effort /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif Used to buy Jotun in bulk from a commercial supplier and break down into smaller quantities and split twixt other club members. Cost around the £25.00 for a 25l drum..not a lot of colour choice...red..red or even red....but it worked!
