Yes - I use Pocket Winchart Software which lets you run CMap NT charts on the old Jornada. It works fine & comes either on a flash memory card which you shove in the Jornada or on a CD which you download from your desktop PC. Then you get the relevant CMap charts on PC Card & cable up.
I got mine for £77+VAT at the Boat Show - think it's a bit more normally from Chartwork direct, 02392221252 plus, of course, the cost of CMap stuff which I also got from them.
It zooms right down to pontoon level - seems OK for me anyway.

I am also using Pocket Winchart which I recently installed on my Jornada 820. I had a lot of problems getting it going which involved a bit of "too-ing and fro-ing" between CMap and winchart but it is now linked to my Garmin GPS and is working well. Have you also tried Maptech's pocket navigator which it is claimed works on all versions of Ce 3.0 and upwards?
I have looked at Pocket navigator and looks good - it needs Microsoft Pocket PC operating software - as yet I have not managed to find exactly which OS the J720 uses - HP website no good at all! Got in touch with Maptech who advised I contact HP which is easier said than done - next stop I will have to try a supplier of the Jornada.
Steve, there used to be a good HP handheld forum on Compuserve, which helped me a number of times for non-marine apps, but I don't know how you get to it if you are not a C-serve/aol subscriber. How about a Google or Yahoo search for HP forums? By the way, what part of HP have you tried to contact?
