Have 9.9 outboard. Can anyone tell me what max/min dials are for. One is next to manual choke and other is next to fuel inlet?. CHEERS

On the 4.5 horse there is just one min-max and it adjusts the idle speed.
There's another one that does fuel mixture but it's in a different place.

On the 6hp there is just one which adjusts the mixture. Pull the knob off adjust the mixture using a scewdriver then refit knob it its central position.
Can't you get some idea what they are connected to by taking the cover off and having a look.

Slow speed (idle) mixture and high speed (full throttle) mixture. or at least they were on my old 25 - made it easy to tune the carb after a carb cleaning / rebuild and to compensate for partially blocked filters. /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif
