Johnson Pressure pump HELP!!!!

We have recently fitted a Johnson WPS 5 pump. Very happy with it, however, having a reasonably well sound-proofed engine room, it is impossible to hear when we have run out of water!
We do not have tank gauges and no easy way of fitting them. We do know roughly, within a day or so, when we would need water BUT does anyone have any bright ideas how we could fit a visual or audible warning if we ran out of water and the pump continues to run free.

You can fit tank gauges using a pressure system, from the outlet of your tank. I fitted a (one off) similar system to our fuel tank, as there was no easy way to get access to the top of the tank.

Connect a light to the pressure switch in parallel with the pump. Every time the pump runs the light will illuminate.
