jobs in boat building

Hi I'm in the RAF as an aircraft tech and have been for the last 21 years. I'm due to leave the air force in two years and I'm interested in getting a job in the
marine leasure industry in East Anglia. I would like to hear from anybody who could tell me what courses I should do before I leave the service to aid me in finding a job when I leave.

Glass fibre work is a must obviously, becoming a woodwork craftsman is also a must have for a fitter, and obviously you need to convert over from jet propulsion to low revving diesel and petrol engines. Quite a lot to do in 2 years Id say.
