jet skis?

Outboards are generally lower rated per litre (or half litre) than jet skis. A 50HP outboard would generally have an engine capacity of 750cc, so conversely, a 500cc motor would be tuned to deliver 30-35HP. My Suzuki 100HP is 1.5 litre.

Jet ski motors are generally tuned to kick out more, somewhere in the order of 100HP per litre, as a rough guesstimate! That plus the fact that they tend to get thrashed to death, leads them to blow up more frequently.

At the end of the game, the King and the Pawn go back in the same box.

The Old Kwaka developed 40hp give or take 5hp (js or sx spec).

If you did'nt get going first time, don't panic my dad got up on a stand up for the first time ever last weekend and hes 60 !!

thanks t you all for repying, needed a guestimate realy, iv'e found a 550 sx with stripped motor, all parts there, looking at fitting the motor and jet into a small cathederal hull 9ft or so. tried jet skiing and although it looks fun, it's a bit too limited for me. a jet boat on the other hand......
