A missing person inquiry has been launched in Jersey after a UK registered Jet Ski was found abandoned in Bouley Bay.
The machine was discovered on Monday and has now been traced to a family in Birmingham.
It was last used by Michael Hudson who has been reported as missing to West Mercia Police.
He's now being asked to contact detectives in the island or his family at home to let them know of his whereabouts.
latest news,
The body of a man has been found in French waters off Jersey.
The body was discovered late yesterday (Friday) afternoon and so far French police at Barneville Carteret have been unable to confirm the identity of the man.
Meanwhile in Jersey there's been a renewed appeal for information in the hunt for a missing man following discovery of an abandoned jet ski at Bouley Bay. It belongs to 45 year old family man Michael Hudson who disappeared from his home in Worcestershire eight days ago.
Police are wondering if the jet ski had been found unattended and towed into the bay. They'd also like to hear from anyone who may know the whereabouts of a silver and blue Nissan Navara pick-up, registration number NT02 CWU. This vehicle may well have a trailer attached and may be linked to the jet ski.
I wonder if this truck is on the south coast, keep a lookout for it.
