Swmbo bought a Daily Express today (claimed it was the only paper left). I spotted an article about a child throwing a bottle containing a message into the Channel which turned up 5 months later in Australia.
Sounds a bit doubtful to me. I reckon it would need to average about 3 knots (always in the right direction) to get there in that time.
Anyone care to offer an explanation?
