Jester - Bill Churchouse

Evening all,

I have been totally absorbed with the Jester Challenge for the past couple of years and would love to take part. I have watched the You Tube clip of Bill Churchouse and want to read any articles he has written. I would also like to meet him and have a chat - he is my type of sailor.

Can anybody help re getting more info re Bill and his exploits.

I googled it and discovered it was a single-handed race/challenge from Plymouth to Newport. Humm, basically a trip around the cornish peninsula and up the Bristol channel. It was only after I saw some advice about US visa's that I realised they're not talking about the same Newport!

Bill C'h is an extraordinarily helpful sort, and is usually to be found before the start of a J/Challenge running around urgently sorting someone else's boaty problem. He keeps his boat usually at Poole YC, but this is the time of year when he's usually off 'doing his thing'.

Why don't you leave a message for him on the Jester Yahoo forum?
