Some on here may have come across Jerry & Caz Flint on yacht Jolini either in the Med or elsewhere. They almost managed a circumnavigation in their previous yacht Mandarina before she was lost in the South China Sea.
Jerry sadly passed away this morning after a six-month battle with cancer that he was never going to win. He is survived by his wife Caz and his children Ben and Kate and his many grandchildren - and his two beloved dogs Bob and Ivi.
The marina here in Agios Nikolaos have been superb all through his illness and have done everything possible to make his and his family's lives as easy as possible. They are flying all flags at half-mast today too.
He was my very good friend and I'm going to miss him.
