He's having a debate on his show today (at some point between 12 & 2pm) to discuss if there should be regulations for buying a boat, following the Channel Island/Ebay yacht purchase & shipwreck that occured earlier this week...

I am on a day off! ( but i have actually been working anyways... Put a twitter feed on our blog which has now made my front page a bit wonky.... Wy does nothing work...). :D

Whoa down guy’s less of the criticism please...

He had the Harbourmaster & the Training manager of the RYA on the show, so quite a well informed debate. Ok some of the questions were obviously from an under informed presenter, but at least there was some debate.

To license or not to license????

He made out he didn't know what RYA stood for and then announced the bloke from the RYA.
All the calls were from loonies.
They probably filter out the sensible calls.
At least the Assistant harbour Master and RYA bloke spoke sense.

Anyway, it's over. It's today's chip wrapper now.

dont you believe it! The gov's looking for ways to tax things, boats are not
that hard a target .:eek:
 
We were in the car and I got told off for abusing the radio! :) First the debate on the Virgon Atlantic incident and crew actions and then this...

Clearly for sensationalism - why would facts matter? Both debates had 'expert' contributers that fortunately would not be swayed or harrassed by him.
