Jefferson C map Updates ?

Hi everyone, not sure if this is of interest to others but, I have just took my c max wide orange card European and Atlantic coast card into electronic chart update book shop at QAB Plymouth' and he has told me that there will be no updates available for anyone from 1st of September as Jefferson have dropped the service?
Anybody else know of this?

How are people with Jepperson cards going to continue to use them if there are no updates available from Jepperson?
Is everybody going to have to update to Navionics charts and a suitable compatible system plotter?

This chap also told me Standard Horizon have now archived and dropped the supply of chart plotters altogether, and are only concerntrating on VHF only.

This could get expensive!

Duncan you may be in the know, is there an alternative to the orange C-map card that you can still get updated after 1st of September? Or are all their cards going to become obsolete?
