It looks like Andrew has got Jedi's engines back into service.

I was moored on the EA mooring at Dorney Lake on Saturday when Jedi went past. I tried shouting and VHF, but I dont think I got through!

Yes, back running on both, bit wing and a prayer until I get the manifold off and properly welded up. Spigot is a drive fit in the remains of the flange and held in with plumber's putty and optimisim, plus low power only.

I know that if it goes the raw water goes into the boat rather than into the exhaust so have to watch a bit carefully so sorry for not being too aware at times. Crew doing a good job on lookout so I'd have hoped they waved back. Littlest one told me" a man waved so I waved to him" but Sarah will wave at anyone, their dog or indeed any aeroplane passing over.

Nice meet you Brad and put a face to a name.

VHF was probably on 72 for club comms and my dual watch, like so much on the boat at the moment, seems to make up its own mind on functionality. Bridge lighting worked Saturday afternoon, not Saturday night nor Sunday and fine again Monday lunchtime. I think a rewire is on the to do list...

Perhaps we should have another meet some weekend. Anyone else got a big garden or do we raft 15 out from Rob's?:-)

We are supposed to be having a forum do at Windsor Marina.. I cannot remember what date though! /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif
