Jeanneau withdrew Leader 9 & 10 from their website today

So now there are only the (very) old L8 and the two new L36 and L40 in the Leader series

While it is fairly obvious L36 was intended to replace L10 - priced around the same, L36 slightly longer and heavier than L10 - it seems there are no replacement for the smaller L9. If you wanted a 4-5t HardTop boat from Jeanneau then.... too bad, can't have one because they don't make them anymore

Another odd thing, L36 and L40 are very, very similar - both available as HT and Open, respectively 6,9t and 7,5t dispalcemtn. Cockpits are virtually identical and down below they are also very similar. Seems like a waste to build two different - but identical - boats aimed for the same market segment

I saw the Leader 9 as the obvious replacement for my Prestige 30S when I get round (can afford) to an upgrade.

Personally after looking at the NC9 & the NC10, I much preferred the Leader(s).
