Jeanneau 39 /40 deck saloon

Morning folks,

Can any members give me any advice on the above Jeanneau , built quality, cruising

ability etc.

Never sailed on one, but while looking round one at the boat show, my wife fell off the step between the saloon and the forecabin and nearly broke her ankle. When you are accustomed to a flat cabin sole, this step comes as a nasty surprise.
I bought the standard 39i instead, been very pleased with it.
