Jeanne crosses the equator

After delivering several scares as she rounded the Southern tips of Tasmania and New Zealand Jeanne Socrates crossed the equator a bit after 1400Z today (2019-07-23).

Her mainsail headboard area is clearly fragile but she is nursing it along.

The girl has grit.

Isn't she amazing" I managed a quick hello with her some weeks back and she sounded chirpy. I'm always in awe of amazing people like this.
