Jaguar V12's were raced in class one poer boats in the 1970' or early eighties .
I think it was a semi official jaguar team ?

I still have an official Jaguar Racing baseball cap from that era, given to me by a guy that used to race them. We were based in Poole Harbour Yacht Club at the time (now called Salterns Marina) and moored our boat in the opposite slip. So, yes, there was an official team.
