Jabsco Accumulator 30573-0003?

The instructions for the Jabsco Accumulator 30573-0003 say: "Tank installs anywhere in-line on discharge side of pump." My water pipe branches on the pump outlet; can the unit be fitted on the other end of a branch, or must it go before the pipe splits?

If you install it after the split, it will only be effective for that 'branch' so you will potentially lose some of its benefit

The connections are not specifically inlet and outlet are they?

If not then it will be just as effective installed in one or other of your branches.

It will work anywhere on the discharge side as long as there are no one way valves installed. It basically keeps the system pressure up, so any where in the system will work (The pressure will be the same through out the system), however, it is more effective as near as possible to the pump, so would normally before the system is tee'd off. With the 30753-series pumps, remember to set the pressure of the tank to 2psi below the cut in pressure, of the pressure switch..
