I've seen a Seal in the channel...

I\'ve seen a Seal in the channel...

Yes, last Tuesday, mid morning on a trip from Cardiff to Portishead we saw a Seal. It was approx 1nm West of EW Grounds buoy.

Is this commonplace, or a rare thing? Has anyone else seen one that far up?

Saw a seal off Nash point a couple of weeks back. Big lone male it looked like.

I've seen them a couple of times near the Holms, and once (in the days before jobsagoodun came over from the dark side and got flappy things) we saw one upstream from Chepstow!
