I've learnt how to embed photos so here's a few to cheer us up

These were taken on the official summer day from 2012, 8th September. We took a trip to from Ocean Village to Hayling Island and West Wittering. I think the best memory of the day was seeing all the hundreds of pepole crammed on the beaches, looking out to the sea. We used to be part of that crowd, now we have the privilege of looking from the other side of the mirror and not worrying about trying to drive home with everyone else.

It's one of the solent forts, couldn't say which one though, I liked it because it was a ruin and I'd never seen it before despite hanging around this part of the world quite a bit. It just goes to show that we boaters see things that most people never get the chance to.

Lovely pictures, thanks for sharing. I remember that day well, as we joked the kids had just gone back to school and the weather gets better.

Nice pix thank you. We always seem to get a nice spell in Sept. I seem to remember this as a schoolboy. Weather pepped up as soon as school term started!

Thanks, that has really cheered me up and reminded me why I like boating, the cheque to premier marinas I've just written too, though I doubt they can supply the sunshine we all need!!

Yes brilliant, i have nicked some as the sun wasnt out last June when we were there.
