I\'ve dreamed of posting this for a long time !!!

hi,

As I sit here and type this in Plymouth, ready to pull OLLI out this afternoon, I watch the rain and know that we will soon be anchoring on warmer shores, for when she goes back in in two weeks we depart to go cruise the med all summer, and hopefully a lot longer and further.

So to all of you who have posted messages here of your adventures that inspire us all to sell up and go, thank you!

And to anyone on Western med that sees us around (bright yellow hull, black mast - cant miss it!), please come say hello.

Now where did all those pages of the 'things to do before we go' list go ?!?.......

Many many congratulations and best wishes. Having spent the afternoon fighting a pile of dross from the beancounter - including an enormous bill for the privilege - I shall be thinking of you and taking heart that IT CAN BE DONE !

Congrats!!
We are moving aboard via a caravan (over optimistic with boat finish times) from Monday...We have a yellow boat too, definately the best kind to have! Good luck. Might see you heading south, if we get the windows in in the first week of May as planned (!)

Well I am ashamed to say that we didnt quite make the planned departure date due to some problems with putting the rigging back, so have to wait for next spring tide to get out the yard, but cant wait for the 23rd, it would take ALOT to make me miss this new date now!

Thanks for all your replies and support, I will be sure to put a copy of this thread in the diary to look back on one day and remind myself how excited / nervous / anxious I am....
