It's so so quiet!!

Currently sat nice and comfy onboard (with the Eberspacher going flat out) in a very quiet Cowes Yacht Haven. Raggies are here in number but very few mobos............such fine weather (a little chilly I admit) but I would have thought many more would have been leaning on the throttles today!!. Definitely will not be fighting for a space at the bar tonight. Just waiting for the QM2 to pass by........should be a fine spectacle.........all illuminated on such a clear night.

I'd love to be there tbh and this is only the 2nd weekend I've not been at the boat but alas...the house is beginning to suffer neglect so it's a needs must I'm afraid

Engines in bits otherwise we may have been there or thereabouts. Hopefully the engines get put back together tomorrow.

Busy time of year, & the upturn we have seen has caught us out as we could do with more staff. Trouble is we don't have the time to train them at the moment so office staff are working 0800-2100 daily. Looking to rectify in new year but can't be having fun on the boat with them doing that. One more year then we plan to take a lot more time out on the bigger boat we are planning. Nicky is counting the minutes.
