It\'s looking good . . .

Just checked out Sailroom for the first time in a couple of weeks and it's got hundreds of items on it, lots of excellent stuff, and still no fees.

Some of you will know I started the site originally - although it is now under new ownership - so I have a particular interest in its progress. Not an easy job taking on Ebay, but perhaps Sailroom will do it - especially if we help by using it.

Thought you were talking about the weather for a trip back towards Scotland.
So are the Canaries and Madeira still looking better than the Sound of Luing?

Madeira is gorgeous, but there are NO other cruisers here so we feel a bit isolated.

We had a great Winter in the W. Canaries - shorts and swimming most days - one of the best winters they have had for many years I gather. Spring - since we got to Las Palmas basicly - has not been as good, but it has been interesting . . . and when we come back this way we will know exactly where we are going.

Just got an e-mail from an Irish boat we met - they are in Horta now and say the place is chockablock because of bad weather. Hoping to get up to the Azores in the next week or ten days and meet a few people.

Mojomo appears to have used up all the good Atlantic weather . . . other friends on a Norwegian Jeanneau 42 emailed us yesterday four days out of Bermuda - they are struggling with constant 20 knot+ North-Easterlies.

PS - Is this a new record for thread drift?

Sorry about the thread drift.
Give us a report back from Horta then. You won't be needing those shorts back in Balvicar.
Fair Winds..
