You know you've got a problem when you've had more boats than girlfriends....

After 4 years of pure pleasure, today I said goodbye to Tryben, our trustly little Sealine S23.

She's gone back to the UK!

I wish the new owner the best of luck with her, if he knocks half as much fun out of her as I did, he's grabbed himself a bargain!

Hmm, what next?!

I liked the pic in the rear-vision mirror...clever!

The Sealine looks great Alt, nice work.

Only problem is now, you will have to deal with all the over-whelming desire to own another one now, especially being the start of the season.....sorry, someone had to say it! :)

Bosun - Think the Sealine was the 7th boat!

Andie - Thanks. Tryben is indeed a very clean boat, she was one to be proud of.

Of course the 'bigger bug' is alive and well - watch this space :D

I think I may see Tryben in my neck of the woods in the not too distant future;)!!!

OI! KWAKER! Stay away from Tryben and her new owner - he's a nice chap and I do not want him associating with your kind! When he told me he'd be calling over to you I got the holy water out :D :D

'Holy Water', Holy Mackeral, the Gig's up then!
Yes, we have spoken he does seem a nice chap (soon sort that out!) and really looking forward to using Tryben to the enth it seems:)
I thought She was yours, I had a quick delve into 'another forum' and put two an two together;)
Fair play to you She looks clean and smart (soon sort that out!) and here's hoping that the new owner will get Her bum wet in the Menai Strait (lots of sticky out rocks)pretty soon and we can really see what She is made of
With the new owners permission, it will be nice to report back, on here maybe?
'Holy Water'?
Jeepers, I dunno about that stuff
Is it OK with Bells or Grants?:D

Kwaker ye oul fart, stay away from me Tryben!

I gave the new owner a full tank of diesel, but not for you to fart away... it's for use in the Eberspacher!

If you're to dare board her, I demand 5 Hail Mary's while facing North before boarding!

The OH sent me this pic... apparently she was a little upset when she found out Tryben was leaving us!

Niall I shall have to preserve that section of the boat unwashed, I'm sure there are many on this forum that have horror stories about viewing boats and their purchase. You took the stress out of buying Tryben and I thank you for all the time and help you have provided .... Now about this huge Cranchi you have, How much would you ..... "Whats that dear, No, No I'm not looking at boats" ............ Gotta go

Graham

Graham,
Glad you got back OK.

We seemed to work well together... maybe we should join forces in business?!

The story of Graham and I was that of a perfect boat sale - both parties making the little effort to make sure things go smoothly, and it all ends in smiles.

The seller had the boat in (what I consider) perfect condition for inspection, had paper-work to back-up service claims, and allowed his arm to be twisted a bit when it came to price (ok, arm twisted a lot.. you got a friggin' bargain!)

The buyer didn't fuss about, make un-realistic demands and was just happy to find a nice, loved for, clean boat for him to take home.

Alls well that ends well!!

Best of luck and I wish you years of happiness - I should have blessed the boat with a Bottle of Buckfast before your departure, but it wasn't needed I see! Make sure to keep the forum updated of your adventures with pics in the future
